Elgin, IL facility brings new capacity for sheets, brown shippers, and graphic packaging under one roof to support the company’s growth throughout the Midwest
York Container Company announces the startup of its first greenfield corrugated box plant in Elgin, IL. Since 1954, York Container has brought packaging innovation and customer experience to Northeast customers has expanded to the MidWest US. Over 400,000 sqft of manufacturing space, York brings new innovations to the Chicago market and beyond with its most modern and technologically advanced facility to date. The full-line box plant offers corrugated sheets, brown printed shippers, and high graphic specialty packaging solutions beyond the standard box plant. The new facility was built with sustainability in mind for manufacturing and for customers alike. York Container utilizes 100% Recycled Paper from Atlantic Packaging Products in Ontario Canada to provide customers with sustainable environmentally friendly packaging for their products across a variety of industries.
